The silver bullion fringe is in exceptional condition and the corner patch is nicely chain stitched – Neustadt-Ost IV. The colors are brilliant throughout. There is a minor stain (see picture) and a very small hole. All hardware is RZM stamped (M3/40/41) and the top ring is missing.

This is a beautiful piece that will display nicely in any collection. After the Nazi-organized 1933 May Day labor celebrations, the Third Reich not only nationalized all trade unions, but decreed union membership as a mandatory duty, forcing every worker to join the state-operated union.
