Fisher Price Time to Play: Pet Shop [2001] is an educationally based role-playing game for children ages four to seven. Players can purchase, feed, groom, and doctor animals for a simulated pet shop, as well as sing songs along with game characters Ben and Emily.

I owned this game a while back, and it's a really fun game. If you plan on buying it in the future, I'm not 100% sure if it will work on a new computer, Unless your computer is a old windows computer from the early 2000s. (Or if your gonna some type of software that lets you play old games, like this one.) But what you do in the game is, you own a pet shop. You get the pick out what pets you want in your pet shop. (Like what type of cat you want, or what type of rodent you want.) You also get to design fish bowls,feed the pets you picked out earlier in the game,groom and wash some pets and you'll also be able to help treat pets that are hurt. (Nothing major, just stuff like fleas or a sore throat.) The music in the game is fun and catchy, it may stay in your head for a while, but it's not really that annoying. All in all, I think the game is a great game.

I give it five stars, if you have an old computer, or some type of software to run it on a new computer. I recommend it for any little kid. I'm actually buying a replacement CD. It's great because it's so easy for them to learn and they can play it without getting frustrated (and I don't have to bail them out!) The song is nice, it's not violent, it teaches compassion and both of my girls now want to be veterinarians. My youngest was 3 when she first played this, now she's 5 and has a lot of other newer computer games but still likes to go back and play this one -- hence, the replacement CD.
